DatA's music is like the guys who never got invited to the cool parties, and when they finally threw their own, it felt as if the world exploded.

Like all the french DJ:s they will have to get through that phase of comparison with Daft Punk and Justice, but they will probably not stay in that category for long. In opposite of their biggest rivals/co-workers, DatA has a more defined dance, sweat and drink sound going on.

I don't think they will succeed in growing as large as other french electronic band has. But on the electro scene and within the clubbing culture they are already huge. The darker side of the frenchies seem to finally win.

The 80's had a lot to offer, though the best really wasn't Wham! etc. A lot of the old Body-music actually works just as good as todays electro and (pounding) techno music.
